About Images Magazine
With photographic technology growing in leaps and bounds and cameras becoming more sophisticated and affordable, the number of people getting into photography has been rising steadily using a wide assortment of devices ranging from phone cameras, point-and-shoot compact cameras, pro-sumer cameras and DSLRs. The traditional ones would have their photos printed and collected in albums to be enjoyed by their immediate and maybe extended family at most. The more techie ones would probably store their photos in their mobile phones, laptops, desktop computers hooked to LCD/LED monitors, media players hooked to LCD/LED TVs, digital photo frames, or tablet PCs and show them off to a select few. Others who are internet savvy would probably share their digital photos with their friends and family via email, or social networking sites but that would be pretty much limited to who they know. Otherwise, most of the photos these people are taking are just stored in hard drives or photo CDs and DVDs.
What Images magazine is offering is a medium which could reach a much wider audience with a common interest, which we feel no magazine has done so far. We aim to create a community of like-minded people—beginners, casual shooters, enthusiasts, novices, non-professionals, professionals—who have the same passion in photography such as ours.
All the copyrights to the photographs and articles handed in to us belong to the respective individuals who submitted them and will be credited and acknowledged accordingly. EDGE Print Media Pte.
